ERP & Project Systems Specialist
Join Charcoalblue as an ERP & Project Systems Specialist to turn data into clear insight, automate workflows, and support creative, large-scale project delivery.
Charcoalblue is seeking a forward-thinking ERP & Project Systems Specialist to play a key role in shaping, embedding, and continuously improving our ERP and project systems ecosystem. The role will suit someone who is passionate about the intersection of data, automation, and project delivery within the Architecture and Engineering or design consultancy space.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will drive the ongoing evolution of our project systems including our ERP ecosystem - providing integrations, best practice, data analysis and maintenance support, working in close partnership with business leaders and system users.
You will drive the development and optimisation of ERP-based dashboards and reports, plus integrations with Excel and Power BI, and explore emerging approaches such as Agentic AI, identifying practical opportunities to automate workflows and enhance decision making where they provide clear business value.
This role offers the opportunity to grow into a recognised systems specialist, shaping how data, automation, and insight support creative project delivery at scale. There is an emphasis throughout the remit on your ability to be highly organized, a strong and proactive communicator, and to deliver reliable and accurate results.
As Charcoalblue continues to grow internationally, our projects, people, and data are becoming more connected and more complex. We have recently adopted Deltek Vantagepoint as our core ERP platform, and we are now at a critical stage where the value of that investment depends on how well the system is embedded, trusted, and evolved. This role exists to ensure our ERP and project systems truly support how we work: turning high-quality data into clear insight, reducing manual effort through smart automation, and enabling our teams to focus on creative, high-value project delivery. If you’d like to join a collaborative, passionate team that values constant curiosity and self-development, and is ready to help shape future-proofed project systems, apply now.
Role Summary
The Architect of Data: You will ensure our ERP system (Deltek Vantagepoint) remains the "single source of truth" for project delivery, scheduling, finance, reporting and people processes across our international business.
Automation Driver: Working with key stakeholders, you will identify manual bottlenecks and implement automated solutions, including using Agentic AI and integrated workflows.
Insight Creator: You will transform raw data into actionable intelligence by building and maintaining sophisticated dashboards.
Collaborative Lead: You will translate complex technical concepts into accessible information for our design and engineering teams, enabling a culture of continuous improvement.
